                               RESOLUTION NO. 18901
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SAFETY TO EXECUTE A 
                   CONTRACT, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED HERETO 
                   AND MADE A PART HEREOF BY REFERENCE, WITH 
                   CHATTANOOGA STATE TECHNICAL COMMUNITY 
                   COLLEGE TO PROVIDE THREE FIRE SCIENCE 
                   TECHNOLOGY COURSES FOR FIREFIGHTERS.
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of Safety be and is hereby authorized to execute a Contract, a 
       copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by 
       reference, with Chattanooga State Technical Community College to 
       provide three fire science technology courses for firefighters.
